Crown Heights - Blue on 39th

This kitchen remodel of this house built in 1934 started with 7 foot ceilings and a priority being the large gas range. With the space between the windows the only place the range would fit, this left no place for the sink. So a 90 degree corner sink became the answer. What was an awkward space under the stairwell, became the coffee nook.

Now the kitchen has a built in banquette for seating with drawers for storage easily accessible at the end of the benches, a large curved island with work space, storage and seating for two.
